Access Policy
Progressive Physics Journal (PPJ) is a fully open-access journal. All content is made freely available to readers immediately upon publication, without subscription, registration, or any charge to readers or their institutions. This policy follows the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access: users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the authors.
Immediate Access, No Embargo
• All articles are published online in full text (PDF) on the journal website as soon as an issue is released, with no embargo period.
• Readers do not need to register, log in, or pay to read or download any article, including back issues in the Archives.
• There are no fees for submission or peer review. The only charge is the article publication fee (IDR 150,000) paid by authors after acceptance, as described on the Article Processing Charges page; readers are never charged.
License
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which allows anyone to share and adapt the work for any purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given and any adapted work is distributed under the same license. Authors retain copyright of their work. See the Copyright and License pages for details.
Self-Archiving (Repository Policy)
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the submitted version (preprint), the accepted version (postprint), and the final published version of their article in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, and academic social networks, at any time and without embargo. The deposited copy should include a full citation of the PPJ article and a link to its DOI.
Metadata and Machine Access
• Article metadata, including titles, abstracts, keywords, authors, affiliations, and references, is freely available and may be reused without restriction
• Metadata is openly harvestable through the OJS OAI-PMH interface: https://jurnal.fmipa.unmul.ac.id/index.php/ppj/oai
• Each article has a DOI registered with Crossref and is discoverable through Garuda, Google Scholar, Indonesia One Search, and Dimensions.
• RSS and Atom feeds of the latest issue are available on the journal website.
Long-Term Preservation
To guarantee continued access to published content, PPJ preserves its articles through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) / LOCKSS / Garuda and on the servers of FMIPA Universitas Mulawarman. If the journal ceases publication, all published articles will remain freely available.
