Economic Contribution of Aloe Vera Agroindustry to Household Income in Kedundang Village, Temon, Kulon Progo

Abstract

Agroindustry has an important role in the agricultural sector in Indonesia, especially in increasing the added value of agricultural products, creating jobs, and encouraging regional economic growth. This research was conducted in Kedundang, Temon, Kulon Progo, involving 24 respondents who were members of the aloe vera agroindustry group. The purpose of this study was to analyze the economic contribution of the Aloe Vera agroindustry to the family income of the Kedundang Women Farmers Group. The research method used is descriptive analysis with data collection through questionnaires to people involved in the aloe vera agroindustry. The results showed that 12 members had an income of Rp1,242,083 per month, 11 members had an income of Rp1,642,083 per month, and 1 member had an income of Rp2,042,083 each month. This finding indicates that aloe vera agroindustry provides a significant additional income for farm women groups in Kedundang.
