3. Language
Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English, but the template requires:
- title in Bahasa Indonesia and English;
- abstract in Bahasa Indonesia and English;

Authors should ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency of language throughout the manuscript. If the manuscript is written in Bahasa Indonesia, the English title and abstract must accurately reflect the same content.
4. General Manuscript Format
The manuscript must be prepared using the BIOSOLUSI journal template. Authors should submit the article in an editable word-processing format, preferably .doc or .docx.
The manuscript should follow the sequence provided in the template:
- Journal identity header

- Author names
- Affiliations
- Corresponding author email
- Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia
- Keywords in Bahasa Indonesia
- Abstract in English
- Keywords in English
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion

- References
5. Title, Authors, and Affiliations
The title must be concise, specific, and clearly reflect the substance of the community service activity. The template requires:
- one title in Bahasa Indonesia;
- one title in English;
- full author names without academic titles;
- institutional affiliations for each author, including study program or institution, city, and country;
- the email address of the corresponding author.
6. Abstract and Keywords
Abstract
The manuscript must include:
- ABSTRAK in Bahasa Indonesia;
- ABSTRACT in English.
Both abstracts should be equivalent in meaning and content. The abstract should be written in one paragraph and should contain:
- brief background,
- objective,
- implementation method,
- main results,
- impact of the activity.
A recommended abstract length is 150–250 words.
Keywords
Authors must provide:
- Kata Kunci in Bahasa Indonesia;
- Keywords in English.
Each should contain 3–5 terms, separated by semicolons.
7. Manuscript Structure
1. Introduction
The Introduction should present:
- background of the problem;
- urgency of the activity;
- context of the partner/community target;
- brief relevant literature review;
- objectives of the community service activity.
2. Methods
The Methods section should clearly explain:
- location and time of the activity;
- target participants or partners;
- stages of implementation;
- methods of counseling, training, mentoring, or intervention;
- evaluation instruments;
- data analysis techniques.
The description should be sufficiently clear so that the activity model can be understood and, where applicable, replicated.
3. Results and Discussion
This section should systematically present the outcomes of the activity, such as:
- changes in knowledge, skills, attitudes, or participation;
- outputs or products generated;
- responses from participants or partners;
- evaluation findings before and after the intervention.
The discussion should not merely describe activities, but also interpret the results, explain their significance, and connect them with relevant literature or similar programs. The template explicitly encourages linking results with literature to strengthen the discussion.
4. Conclusion
The Conclusion should be concise and directly address the objective of the activity. It should highlight the main outcome and practical significance of the program.
5. Acknowledgments
This section should mention parties that contributed to the activity, such as funding institutions, facilities providers, community partners, or technical supporters.
6. References
The References section must list all cited works consistently according to the citation style established by the journal. The template also recommends the use of reference management software to maintain formatting consistency.
8. Tables, Figures, and Photos
Tables, figures, and activity photos must be relevant and clearly presented.
For tables:
- number tables consecutively;
- provide a concise title;
- ensure the data are readable and clearly labeled.
The template includes an example of result presentation using a table with indicators and comparison of conditions before and after the activity.
For figures/photos:
- place the figure or photo above the figure caption;
- ensure good quality, proper proportion, and readability;
- include source information or explanatory notes when needed.
9. Citation and Reference Style
References must be presented consistently. Based on the template note, the journal may determine the final citation style, but authors are strongly encouraged to use one standard reference style consistently throughout the manuscript and to manage references using software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
A recommended style for BIOSOLUSI is APA 7th edition.
