plagiarism policy

1. Statement on Plagiarism

Jurnal Eksponensial is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and preventing any form of plagiarism. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • copying text, ideas, data, or images from other sources without proper citation,

  • submitting another author's work as one's own,

  • excessive reuse of one's own previously published work (self-plagiarism).

2. Similarity Check

All submitted manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin or similar tools.

The journal applies a maximum similarity index of 25% for submitted manuscripts.

However, the editorial team will evaluate the similarity report carefully, considering that certain sections such as:

  • references,

  • methodology descriptions,

  • commonly used terminology,

may contribute to similarity without constituting plagiarism.

3. Editorial Decision Based on Similarity Level
