Abstract

The aim of pretest method can generate the bootstrap p-value estimation as significantly closest as the actual bootstrap p-value. The method could be applied to the data of district/city original income in the Province of East Kalimantan and district/city original income in the Province of North Kalimantan. Based on the pretest method, it was got the total  number of bootstrap replication required to test the district/city original income in the Province of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan in 2015 is 700 and the estimated p-value of the bootstrap test with the number of bootstraps which has obtained of 0,02. The number of bootstrap replication that had been obtained then would be done independent samples t test with bootstrap and it can be concluded that there is difference of average income of district/city in Province of East Kalimantan and income of district/city in Province of North Kalimantan.
