Abstract

Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) is the type of control chart that is able to control quantitative and continuous variable data and is used to detect shifts in the average. Double Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (DEWMA) is the result of the development of an EWMA control chart that is able to detect shifts in the average that are smaller than the production process. The purpose of this study was to find out the results of controlling the quality of 1 kg products at UD. Sinar Sulawesi using EWMA and DEWMA control chart. The results showed that there were no data out of control based on testing using EWMA and DEWMA control chart, so that it could be said that the production of noodles at UD. Sinar Sulawesi are within the control limit. The UCL and LCL values ​​of the DEWMA control chart for the first up to the tenth looks bigger than the UCL and LCL values ​​of the EWMA control chart.
